India posted its highest-ever total in women’s ODIs during the third 50-over game against Ireland, crossing the 400-run mark for the first time at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Wednesday.
The Indian team broke its previous record of 370 runs in 50 overs, set during the second match of the ongoing series.
Batting first, India amassed 370/5 in its 50 overs. Pratika Rawal scored her maiden international century, going on to smash 154 off just 129 deliveries.

Earlier in the innings, Smriti Mandhana and Rawal shared a massive 233-run opening partnership. Mandhana, who broke the record for the fastest century by an Indian woman, scored 135 off 80 balls. Richa Ghosh, promoted up the order, contributed a quickfire 59 from 42 balls.
Before this series, India’s previous highest total also came against Ireland, scoring 358/2 in Potchefstroom in 2017. The team had also recorded 358/2 against the West Indies last month.
