IPL 2025: Chennai Super Kings to kickstart pre-season with a 10-day camp from February 27

Five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kasi Viswanathan said on Wednesday that the team will kickstart its pre-season training on Thursday (February 27) with a 10-day camp at the CSK High-Performance Centre here in Navalur.

He also stated that all the available Indian players, including Dhoni, will be attending the camp.

“It is at the High Performance Centre. We are planning for about 10 days. Indian players, whoever is available, are coming. Dhoni is also participating. Usual practice,” he said over a phone call.

A photo of Dhoni’s arrival at the Chennai airport on Wednesday was shared on the official CSK X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, batters Shaik Rasheed, Vansh Bedi, and Andre Siddarth, bowling all-rounder Ramakrishna Ghosh, pacers Khaleel Ahmed, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Mukesh Choudhary, Anshul Kamboj, and Gurjapneet Singh, and support staff Tommy Simsek (physiotherapist) and Gregory King (trainer) are among those who’ve already arrived.

IPL 2025 will start on March 22 where defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
