The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) convened a meeting with officials of the Indian Premier League (IPL) side Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday to discuss the issues between the two parties.
On Sunday, SRH sought the intervention of BCCI and the IPL Governing Council to halt the recurring “blackmailing tactics” by the HCA, but the state unit denied all such charges by the franchise.
As per a press release, during the discussions between HCA Secretary R. Devraj and SRH representatives, the team proposed strictly adhering to the existing tri-party agreement between SRH, HCA, and BCCI, ensuring that 10 per cent of the available stadium capacity across all sections is allocated accordingly.

HCA, in turn, proposed maintaining the existing allocation of passes in each category, in line with the long-standing practice followed over the years.
After further deliberations with SRH CEO K. Shanmugam, the following resolution was agreed upon:
- The category allocation of 3900 complimentary passes to HCA will remain unchanged, consistent with established practice.
- HCA has assured SRH that they will fully cooperate with SRH in a professional manner. With this meeting, we have resolved all our outstanding issues.
- HCA and SRH remain committed to working together amicably to enhance the spectator experience at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
