In the video that was unveiled by Disney on Tuesday, Shah Rukh Khan is seen talking about this ‘tale of two kings’ wherein he said, “Film Jawan mein jo dialogue hai – Yeh Baap hai woh beta hai – Isko hum Simmba aur Mufasa karenge hum. Bahut saalon se padte aa rahein hai, dekhte aaye hain (In the film Jawan, there are dialogues about father and son, it holds true for Simmba and Mufasa too. We have been watching and learning about them for years now)- so you relate to it – woh kind hai, strong hai , powerful hai, sweet bhi hai – he is a very family oriented person. These are things we all want to be. So… I think Mufasa stands for all that.”
He jokingly added, “Also when I was younger mere baal waise the, toh mujhe lagta hai ki Mufasa ka woh main hai (My hair used to be like when I was much younger, and I believe it was the ‘main’ thing of Mufasa)”.
