IND vs AUS, 3rd Test: Brisbane Day 2 weather forecast, rain chances after Day 1 called off

Only 80 deliveries of play was possible on the opening day of the third Test between India and Australia as incessant rain washed out more than two sessions at the Brisbane Cricket Ground.

Though the ground boasts a state-of-the-art drainage system, the heavy downpour meant the outfield could not be match-ready in time. Australia was 28 for no loss at Stumps.

There are forecasts of thunderstorms in the coming week in Brisbane which could result in more days getting called off or shortened due to adverse weather conditions.

The chances of rain are as high as 70% on Monday and Tuesday which will be days three and four of this Test, respectively.

However, the forecast is slightly better on the second day, which could allow some play. Here is how the weather forecast looks for Sunday:
