Shubman Gill will be turning up for Punjab during the team’s next Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka starting January 23 in Bengaluru.
Sportstar understands that Gill has been named in Punjab’s 15-member squad. After five rounds, Punjab is currently fifth in the Group C points table with one win, two losses and two draw games.
Gill will be making his Ranji Trophy return after 2022 when he played against Madhya Pradesh in the quarterfinals in Alur.
The 25-year-old had a forgettable series against Australia where he just managed 93 runs across three matches at an average of 18.60, with a top score of 31. India lost the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 1-3.
