Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be without senior all-rounder Sophie Devine in the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL) as she has decided to take a break from domestic cricket.

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) did not specify the reason but stated she made the decision based on professional advice.

This means Devine will also miss the Super Smash in New Zealand, where she recently took a five-wicket haul for Wellington.

NZC emphasized that player well-being is the priority and will support her during the break. A decision on her playing future will be announced later.

Devine, 35, has played nearly 300 international matches and holds the highest individual score (99) in WPL history for RCB.
