Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is expected to be joining Mahesh Babu and S.S. Rajamouli in their untitled action adventure film, referred to as SSMB29, took to social media to share her appreciation post for Kaveri Kapur. The newbie star kid, who is the daughter of renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthy made her acting and singing debut in the Indian film industry with the film Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story, which also features Vardhan Puri as the male lead. After the film premiered on Disney+ Hotstar, PC took to social media to shower praises on the Kapur girl for her music skills.

Speaking of the same, Priyanka Chopra shared an Instagram story featuring Kaveri Kapur singing one of the tracks from her film ‘Ek Dhaaga Thoda Maine’, composed by A R Rahman and said, “Congratulations on your debut film @kaverikapur (red heart emoji). And what a beautiful song with the amazing @arrahman (sparkles emoji).” She also tagged the entire team of the film which not only included filmmaker Kunal Kohli, lyricist Prasoon Joshi, and co-actor Vardhan Puri but also Kaveri’s father Shekhar Kapur and mother Suchitra Krishnamoorthy.
Coming to the film, Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story is the tale of a boy and a girl who meet while the latter is flying from Glasgow to Cardiff at Heathrow airport after Bobby’s flight is diverted due to a volcanic ash cloud situation. While Rishi gets smitten by Bobby they decide to make their best of their time together as he follows Bobby onto a train heading to Cambridge. What starts off as a simple trip leads to a journey filled with love, commitment, and self-discovery.
On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra is currently in the country as she is all set to make a comeback to Indian films with SSMB29, which is also expected to feature an ensemble cast. The action adventure is written by Vijayendra Prasad and is one of the most highly-awaited projects.
