Malavika Mohanan, who has been dabbling between films across multiple film industries with films like Yudhraa (Hindi) and Thangalaan (Tamil), has showcased how she can effortlessly adapt to different storytelling styles and audiences. At a time when South Indian actresses are also bagging some major Bollywood films as well, Malavika has shared her thoughts on working at a Pan-India level. “I have been fortunate enough to have been surrounded by some lovely people and talents, and I also feel like right now is one of the best times to be an actor, especially a female actor, because my last release was in Hindi, my current projects are in Tamil and Telugu, and I’m about to start one in Malayalam too. I am working with some of the best people in each industry, and I feel like a film will have its audience because of OTT, social media, because of the reach that we have today. If it’s a good film, it doesn’t matter what language it is, people will end up watching it,” the actress said.
Malavika’s upcoming projects also clearly showcase how the actress continues with her Pan-India presence. They include the highly anticipated horror comedy with Prabhas titled The Raja Saab, which is another big-ticket project added to her filmography. Additionally, she is part of Sardar 2 alongside Karthi, Hridayapoorvam with the legendary Mohanlal, among others. While the actress’ fans are excited to see in this intriguing lineup multi-genre projects, the actress has maintained that she wants to continue pushing boundaries along with her desire to cement a place as one of the most versatile actresses in Indian cinema.
