Kerala qualified for its first Ranji Trophy final after taking a slim two-run first-innings lead against Gujarat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday.
Kerala won the toss and opted to bat. It was bowled out for 457, riding on a brilliant 177 from M Azharuddeen.
In response, Gujarat nearly topped the first-innings score by riding on Priyank Panchal’s 148 and a couple of crucial 70s from Aarya Desai and Jaymeet Patel.
