Mohammed Shami on Sunday created the unceremonious record of bowling the longest over bowled by an Indian bowler in One-Day Internationals during the side’s match against Pakistan in Dubai.
Coming on in the first over of the innings, Shami bowled 11 deliveries, giving away six runs, five of which came in wides.
He is the third Indian to bowl an 11-ball over after Zaheer Khan and Irfan Pathan.
