Vidarbha’s Harsh Dubey finished as the highest wicket-taker of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season at the end of the final against Kerala in Nagpur on Sunday.
The left-arm spinner broke Ashutosh Aman’s record for most wickets in a single season, eclipsing it by one wicket, tallying 69 wickets in ten matches.
Dubey finished the season with an outstanding average of 16.98, picking up seven five-wicket hauls and registering the best figures of 6 for 36.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Aaqib Nabi finished second on the list with 44 scalps, level with Mumbai left-arm spinner Shams Mulani.
Finalist Kerala’s veteran off-spinner Jalaj Saxena finished another successful season with 40 wickets, level with Saurashtra’s Dharmendrasinh Jadeja.
