Lucknow Super Giants handed a debut IPL cap to pacer Prince Yadav for its 2025 season opener against Delhi Capitals on Monday in Vizag.
The 23-year-old quick shot to fame after a storming Delhi Premier League campaign in 2024, claiming 13 wickets in 10 innings.
Prince also represented Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Syed Mushtaq Alit Trophy in 2024.
In eight T20s for Delhi, the right-arm pacer has taken 11 wickets at an impressive average of 18.63, giving away just 7.54 runs per over. His performance powered Delhi into semifinal of SMAT 2024.
Prince also ended as Delhi’s highest wicket taker in the VHT 2024, with 11 scalps.
In 2023, Prince was part of Lucknow Super Giants as a net bowler, before the side picked him for INR 30 lakh.
