Sharing insights into her journey of becoming an actor, Yami recently said in an interview with TV9, “It may take time, but the right opportunity will come. Wherever you’re from… if you believe in your talent, why did you enter the industry, what attracted you.”
Yami revealed that she knew she wanted to act, saying, “My thoughts were clear. I want to act, perform, and do good work. While chasing good work, there will be disappointments; there will be times when you question your decisions – is this the right place? For someone like me, with my kind of thinking, I never became desperate for work. I learned to say no. If it’s not from the heart or if you don’t listen to your inner voice, you don’t have to do it.”
The actress expressed that hard work surely brings the right opportunities. “It may take time, but what’s meant to be will happen. You’ll find it someday if you keep working hard, looking for the right opportunities, and maintaining a positive attitude,” said Yami.
