In addition to his role at the film festival, Shekhar Kapur is also stepping into another meaningful position of that of an educator. He will be giving a lecture at a leading Film School in Istanbul, mentoring aspiring filmmakers and sharing his insights on storytelling, direction, and navigating the creative process in a changing world.
Speaking about this new phase, Shekhar Kapur says with utmost enthusiasm, “Off to a new adventure… chairman of the Jury of the Istanbul Film Festival, and teaching at the Film School. Ah well… can’t complain, can I? There’s always something exciting around the corner. A new beginning, perhaps?”
