Rohit Sharma on Sunday overtook Shikhar Dhawan and moved into the second place in the list of highest runscorers in the Indian Premier League history.
Rohit struck an unbeaten 76 off 45 deliveries which got Mumbai Indians to a nine-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium.
The 37-year-old ended on 6,786 runs after the innings. Dhawan had scored 6,769 runs across his IPL career. Virat Kohli is the highest scorer in the league’s history with 8,326 runs.
