IPL 2025 in numbers: Virat Kohli becomes first Indian to 13,000 T20 runs

 

5The number of batters to aggregate 13000 runs or more during their T20 career. Virat Kohli, on 7 April 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, during his 67 against Mumbai Indians, became the latest to join the list. In achieving this milestone in 386 innings, he became the second quickest after Chris Gayle, who did it in 381 innings.

His knock is now the third-highest individual score in IPL after Chris Gayle (175* for RCB v PWI in Bengaluru in 2013) and Brendon McCullum (158* for KKR v RCB in Bengaluru in 2008).
