Chennai Super Kings captain M. S. Dhoni became the fourth Indian cricketer to play 400 T20 matches during the team’s IPL 2025 encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chennai on Friday.
The five-time IPL winning captain joined Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik and Virat Kohli in reaching the milestone.
Among all cricketers, Kieron Pollard leads the list with 695 matches played in in his 19-year career. Fellow West Indian Dwayne Bravo is placed second with 582 games followed by Shoaib Malik with 557.
Among active cricketers, Andre Russell leads the pack with 546 and is placed fourth in the overall list. Rohit is the most capped Indian with 456 appearances so far in the 20-over format.
