Powered by a stunning hundred from 14-year-old opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Rajasthan Royals trumped Gujarat Titans by eight wickets in an IPL 2025 match in Jaipur on Monday.
With its third win of the season, the Royals moved to eighth in the points table and kept its faint playoff hopes alive.
The defeat denied Gujarat Titans a chance to claim top spot in the standings. The magnitude of the defeat meant it dropped from second to third, with Mumbai Indians climbing to second.
On Sunday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru moved to the top of the points table after its six-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals.
The Rajat Patidar-led side now has 14 points from 10 games, and has won all its six games away from home this season.
