IND-W vs SA-W: Pratika Rawal becomes second Indian to score five consecutive fifty-plus scores in ODIs

Pratika Rawal became only the second Indian women cricketer to score five consecutive fifty-plus scores during an ODI match against South Africa in Colombo on Tuesday.

Opening the batting, Rawal reached her fifty off 58 balls, that too with a six, to join Mithali Raj in this exclusive list of Indian women batters.

The 24-year-old began her streak against Ireland earlier this year in Rajkot where she scored 89. She followed it up with a 67 and a 154 – her career best score – in the same series.

Her 50 not out came against Sri Lanka, host of the ongoing Tri-Nation series.

Overall, Rawal has scored six fifty-plus scores including one century in a very short span of eight innings. She made her ODI debut in December 2024 against the West Indies in Vadodara.
