Following Gujarat Titans’ commanding 38-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, pacer Gerald Coetzee heaped praise on the team’s top-order trio — Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill, and Jos Buttler — for their consistency and composure this season.

“The top three have been consistent this season; they have played proper cricket shots and there’s not much slogging going on. It may not be really flashy, but they’ve done the job perfectly,” Coetzee said in the post-match press conference.

GT posted a daunting 224 for six, built on Gill’s 76 off 38 balls, Sudharsan’s breezy 48 off 23, and Buttler’s polished 64. Their structured and calculated aggression dismantled SRH’s bowling early on, with 87 runs coming in the first 6.5 overs.

Despite Abhishek Sharma’s fighting 74 off 41 for SRH, Prasidh Krishna’s 2/19 ensured GT sealed a much-needed win. With this victory, Gujarat Titans boosted its playoff hopes while pushing SRH out of the tournament.
