The Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume from Saturday, May 17, the IPL governing council confirmed. The first match will be played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium at 7:30pm IST.
The tournament was put on hold on Friday following heightened military tensions between India and Pakistan this week.
The 18th edition of the IPL is in its final stretch with 16 matches left, including the playoffs. Gujarat Titans is leading the points table with 16 points with seven teams involved in the race for the playoffs.
