Indian Premier League side Delhi Capitals will be without the services of pacer Mitchell Starc for the rest of the season, after the Australian opted not to fly back to India for the resumption of IPL 2025, as per reports.
Starc is Delhi Capitals’ top wicket-taker in the season, claiming 14 scalps from 11 matches. The left-arm pacer will now have a bigger preparation window for the upcoming World Test Championship final.
The IPL, temporarily suspended due to rising cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan, still has 13 league matches remaining. The tournament will resume on May 17 with RCB hosting Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru — one of six venues cleared for the rest of the season.
