England has announced its playing XI for the one-off Test against Zimbabwe, which is set to begin on Thursday at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.
Ben Stokes is set to lead the side after being ruled out of action after having surgery on his left hamstring in December after suffering a tear during the third Test against New Zealand.
Additionally pacer Sam Cook is set to make his debut in whites while Josh Tongue makes his return after almost two years.
This fixture also marks Zimbabwe’s first Test on English soil since 2003.
