Australia named a 16-member squad for its five-match T20 International series against West Indies in Jamaica and St. Kitt’s next month.

Mitchell Marsh, who is coming off a blistering Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign for Lucknow Super Giants, returns to Australian colours and will lead in the team in the Caribbean.

Josh Hazlewood, who played a key role in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Indian Premier League (IPL) title triumph, also comes back to the side after missing Australia’s last T20I series against Pakistan ahead of the Test summer. Additionally, Cameron Green and Cooper Connolly also return following injury setbacks.

Mitchell Owen and Matt Kuhnemann received their maiden call-up to the national T20I squad, while Xavier Bartlett, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Marcus Stoinis miss out on selection.

Pat Cummins, Travis Head and Mitchell Starc will skip the T20I series as they will return to Australia following the Test series in West Indies.
