Tejaswini Kolhapure joins Kapil Sharma’s upcoming film, marking their first collaboration. She was last seen in Hansal Mehta’s Scoop, portraying the role of Rambha Ma. In her next project, she steps into comedy, alongside a cast that includes veteran actress Neetu Kapoor.

The film, shot extensively in Shimla, marked a new phase in Tejaswini’s career and also brought her long-standing association with Kapil full circle. Notably, her husband, Pankaj Saraswat, was the concept creator, director, and writer of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, the show that gave Kapil his first major break on television.
Speaking about working with Kapil, Tejaswini shared, “It feels surreal. I’ve seen Kapil’s journey up close, from those early days to becoming the star he is today. And now, to be acting alongside him in a film, it’s a beautiful twist of fate. It truly feels like life has come full circle. I had a great rapport and comfort level working with him”
Tejaswini transitions from drama to comedy in her latest project. The film’s release date is yet to be announced, though anticipation around it is growing.
