Actor Neeru Bajwa is set to join Ajay Devgn in Son of Sardaar 2, the sequel to the 2012 Bollywood film Son of Sardaar. The project, directed by Ashwni Dhir, is scheduled for a global release on July 25.

The announcement comes shortly after Bajwa’s recent work in Jatt & Juliet 3 (2023), where she reprised her long-running on-screen partnership with Diljit Dosanjh. She has been known for balancing commercial projects with content-led films in Punjabi cinema, including Kali Jotta, a film that focused on a woman-led narrative.
Son of Sardaar 2 is expected to continue the blend of action, family drama, and cultural themes that shaped the original film. According to production sources, the sequel will retain the tone of its predecessor while introducing new characters and dynamics. Bajwa’s involvement is seen as a move to broaden the film’s reach to Punjabi-speaking audiences, as well as Hindi cinema viewers.
