The Indian women’s national team suffered a six-run defeat against the ECB Development XI on Wednesday in a warm-up T20 match at the County Ground in Beckenham.
Sarah Glenn took three wickets for the English team, while Ryana MacDonald-Gay and Kirstie Gordon took two scalps apiece.
For India, opener Smriti Mandhana scored a 28-ball 47, which included 10 fours, while wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh notched up 37 runs off 23 balls.
This was India’s second consecutive loss to the ECB side after it lost by 18 runs in an One-Day warm-up match on Tuesday.
