Sri Lanka named an unchanged T20 squad for the away series against New Zealand, the cricket body announced on Wednesday. The 16-member team will be led by Charith Asalanka.
The squad will depart for New Zealand on Friday, eight days before the three-match series begins in Mount Maunganui for the first two games before heading to Nelson on January 2 for the final match.

Sri Lanka had recently hosted New Zealand for two T20Is which ended in 1-1 draw last month. In the ODI series later, Sri Lanka defeated New Zealand 2-0 in the three games with the last match ending in no result due to rain.
