Indian women’s national cricket team will take part in a One-Day International Tri-Nation Series against Sri Lanka and South Africa between April and May, Sri Lanka Cricket announced in a release on Thursday.
All the matches will take place at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo with India facing host Sri Lanka in the opener on April 27.
Each team will play four matches in a double round-robin format with the top two sides facing off in the final on May 11.

Earlier this year, India played Ireland in a bilateral ODI series at home in which the host came out on top. South Africa welcomed England late last year for a three-match ODI series but the Proteas fell short 1-2.
Sri Lanka is currently playing a three-match ODI series in which the first fixture was washed out.
The three nations are set to take part in the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup which is scheduled to take place in India later this year.
