The third edition of the Women’s Premier League final will be played between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians on Saturday at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai.
While DC topped the standings to book its spot in the summit clash, MI entered the final after convincingly beating Gujarat Giants in the eliminator.
Why is the WPL 2025 final not starting at 7:30 pm?
While the league stage matches and Eliminator kicked off at 7:30 pm, the WPL 2025 final between DC and MI will begin from 8 pm at the Brabourne Stadium.
Earlier on Saturday, WPL’s official X handle announced a star-studded line-up which will be performing from 7 pm onwards for a pre-match ceremony. The performers include French Montana, Mohamed Ramadan, Jasmine Sandlas, and DJ Shadow.
The toss will take place at 7:40 pm.
The fixture is a repeat of the WPL 2023 final, in which Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals to lift the inaugural title. Meg Lanning-led DC has lost both the WPL finals and will be hoping to win its maiden title on Saturday.
