Zeeshan Ansari made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the match against Delhi Capitals at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
The Lucknow-born leg spinner replaced Simarjeet Singh in the playing 12 as SRH skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bat first. Zeeshan was roped in by the 2016 champion for INR 40 lakhs at the mega auction, which happened in December last year.
