Defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders has been eliminated from the IPL 2025 race to Playoffs after the match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru was washed out on Saturday. It is now the fourth team to get officially knocked out of the tournament.
KKR (12 points in 13 games) and RCB (17 points in 12 games) shared a point each after the match was called off without a ball bowled.

With Mumbai Indians (14 points in 12 games) and Delhi Capitals (13 points in 11 games) yet to play each other, it will be impossible for KKR to leapfrog either of the two sides.
