The BCCI has confirmed that the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host Qualifier 2 and the final of IPL 2025 on June 1 and 3, respectively. Mullanpur will stage Qualifier 1 on May 29 and the Eliminator on May 30.

“The new venues for the Playoffs were decided by the IPL Governing Council keeping in mind the weather conditions and other parameters,” IPL release said.

After a mid-season suspension, the tournament resumed on May 17, with the remaining 17 matches spread across six venues: Mumbai, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Jaipur, and Mullanpur.

Originally, Hyderabad and Kolkata were scheduled to host the four playoff games.

This is only the second time in IPL history that the tournament has been suspended mid-season. The first was in 2021, when a COVID-19 outbreak halted play, forcing the remainder of the competition to shift to the UAE.
