In the wake of the shocking and untimely death of actress Shefali Jariwala, the entertainment industry has been reflecting on the pressures of physical perfection and the increasing dependence on cosmetic enhancements. Adding her voice to the conversation is Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat, who has taken a bold and honest stand in a new video shared with her followers.
After Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise, Mallika Sherawat embraces natural beauty; says, “No to Botox, No to artificial cosmetic fillers, and yes to life”
The actress, known for her outspoken views and natural beauty, posted a raw and unfiltered selfie video on social media that has since gone viral. Standing in front of a mirror, makeup-free and with unbrushed hair, Mallika greeted fans with a heartfelt message, “Good Morning. I just woke up and thought I will make this selfie video and share with you all. There’s no filter I am using; there’s no makeup I’ve put on. I haven’t even brushed my hair yet. This is the first thing I am doing. I am sharing this video with you so that we all can say together, ‘No to Botox, No to artificial cosmetic fillers, and yes to life, yes to a healthy way of living. Love you all.’”
In the caption accompanying the video, Mallika wrote, “Saying NO to Botox & Fillers. Instead of chasing youth with these artificial procedures, I’m nurturing it from within. Eating clean, hydration, sleeping early & exercises are some of the practices I regularly follow. Let’s embrace our natural glow.”
The video has struck a chord with fans, drawing praise for its honesty and relevance. One user commented, “You’re proof that true beauty doesn’t need filters or makeup. Your natural look is so refreshing and authentic. From which you radiate confidence and beauty without needing anything extra.” Another follower wrote, “Thanks for promoting this, as everyone running behind cosmetic surgeries nd fillers…”
In a time when social media often glamorizes perfection, Mallika Sherawat’s message is a refreshing reminder to embrace authenticity and prioritize holistic well-being. Her words come not only as a tribute to the late Shefali Jariwala but also as a much-needed call for self-love in an industry where external beauty often takes center stage.
Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the 2002 remix video Kaanta Laga, passed away late Friday night at the age of 42.
